Short, Short Story Finals

A lot of great entries into the six-word, short, short story contest! I've narrowed it down to those I felt could actually have some sort of story as a backdrop. Using Hemingway's piece, so many questions arise...

"For sale: Baby shoes... never worn."
Who was the mother? What is the mother feeling? Why did the child die? Why would she sell the shoes? Is it during the Great Depression and she needs the money that badly? Were the shoes stolen?

It's a tragic story (key word... story not slogan) in only six words. So... the finalists are on the right in a poll and you get to vote. Voting ends on Wednesday at 12:00pm EST. Good luck!
