Clearwater Master's Commission had it's first service last night at New Life Church in Westover, AL. The team did incredible. It didn't feel like the first service. Joey and Chevy did an incredible job speaking and the response was overwhelming.
We told the story of William Borden. The theme was No Reserve... No Retreat... No Regrets.
I made a statement at the end of the evening that has kind of become my anthem for church life... "This church exists for those that don't yet come to this church." If more churches in the Western world could just get that realization, then maybe things would be different in our culture. We tend to isolate ourselves and that must change.

i think my favorite part of the sermon was when you said "This church exists for those that don't yet come to this church." its perfect!
I love that comment too! That's been one of the themes at our church as we're getting ready to build. The sanctuary we are in now was built for a lot of us who didn't attend when they built it years ago and now we can do the same for all the people who will be coming!
