So I was outside for four hours on Saturday trying to be a better neighbor by taking better care of my yard. (I had been feeling rather guilty lately) I was done cutting the lawn and was trimming the hedges with a heavy duty electric hedge clipper... on a ladder... not paying attention. It's a good thing I had on those leather gloves or I Could Have Been Killed or Even Worse.
BTW... the tetanus shot today was extra fun!

Just think if you had lost your index finger... then how would you point? Or pick your nose for that matter!
I'd figure something out I'm sure, but I will say I'm so glad I still have it... people might misunderstand me if I pointed with another finger. We wouldn't want that.
